Mouth Guards

What is a Mouth Guard?

A Mouth Guard is a removable device that is worn to protect your teeth whilst playing sport. All athletes are advised to wear a mouth guard whilst playing contact sport to reduce the risk of breaking teeth on impact. Wearing a mouth guard will also help to protect the soft tissues in the case of any contact.

Mouth Guards are custom-made to fit each individual mouth comfortably and without too much interference of speech. They come in many colours and can even be made in your favorite footy team colours!

When would I need to wear a Mouth Guard?

A mouth guard may be necessary when you are engaging in contact sports such as:

  • Football
  • Rugby
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Hockey
  • Softball
  • Martial Arts

Your mouth guard should even be worn during training sessions as accidents can happen even during practice.

Why not call us on 03 9557 9444 to book your dental appointment and get your new mouth guard fitted with one of our friendly Dentists in Bentleigh.
